| History | |||
These beach accesses were operated and maintained by Lee County Parks & Recreation for many years. Shortly after Ft. Myers Beach incorporated, on December 31, 1995, and officially became its own municipality, the "Town of Fort Myers Beach. ," they soon took over the operational aspects. This introduced parking fees to help make some minor improvements, as well as, defray the cost of upkeep. |
