Traditional
Camp Schedule
Day camp activities including arts and crafts, sports, organized games,
quiet play, educational speakers, swimming, outdoor activities, and
field trips scheduled Monday through Friday. While the camp day begins
as early as 7:30 am and ends at 6:00 pm, the bulk of the structured
programming is between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. This gives the parents
some leeway in drop off/pick up times so their child does not miss
an exciting activity.
Specialty
Camps
These camps fall outside the standard camp ages and/or offer a specific
unique focus. Each specialty camp is an in-depth week on a particular
concentration. Specialty camps are for those youth who have a true
passion for the topic at hand. Specialty camps are offered at Boca
Grande, Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve, Manatee Park, Lakes Park,
and various swimming pools. Click here

Teen
Camps
There is no need for your teen to be bored all summer. The Teen Camps
offer a variety of weekly themes in order to provide the teens with
a focus on a particular topic. Activities will be tied to the theme
and will include indoors and outdoors activities, games, adventures,
swimming, field trips and more. The final week of camp will involve
a variety of components from the various themes. Teen camps are for
youth ages 12 16. Please refer to theme descriptions and individual
campsite grids for specific week information. Click here

Special
Needs Camps
These camps are designed for participants with special physical and/or
developmental delays. All potential special needs camp participants
must first complete an assessment by our Special Needs department
in order to register.
Campers
with varying disabilities have the opportunity to register in our
various community summer camp programs, but the campers parent/guardian
must have completed an assessment and work with the inclusion team
during the registration process to ensure the camper can have a successful
and enjoyable summer camp experience. Contact our Special Needs, Program
Specialist for an initial assessment at (239) 533-7423.

camp counselor has passed a background check and has undergone training
in CPR/First Aid, Behavior management, Health and Safety, and Camp
Standards. Theyll take the time to listen and help build your childs
self-esteem and self-confidence.
