| Bird Patrol Volunteer | Bird Patrol is a group of volunteers that visits Lee County parks and Conservation 20/20 sites on a monthly basis to count birds and make the resulting data available to the property managers to help them assess the health of the habitats involved. Each year, on the first Saturday in March, we hold our Birdfest at Lakes Regional Park to celebrate the birds with peaceful canoe trips out to the rookery islands that bustle with the activities of wading birds mating, nest building, and raising young. We also offer guided land tours to view woodland birds, workshops on nature photography, backyard habitat, and more. | Lakes Park Train Village (EASTER BUNNY NEEDED) | LAKES PARK TRAIN VILLAGE is looking for volunteers to assist with their upcoming Easter Event. A Bunny is needed to hand out candy and smile for photos. Shifts are available for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of Easter Weekend (March 21-23rd). .
