The
Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve is very fortunate to have a staff
of dedicated and knowledgeable volunteers who share more than their
love of nature. They have helped nurture the park to grow and blossom
so that the visitors not only experience the beauty of the Slough,
but learn about a whole new and exciting ecosystem, too.
Enthusiastic volunteer
participation has enabled us to expand:
· Guided Nature Walks
· Special Events
· Hands-on Interpretation
· Land Stewardship
· Programs for School Groups
Our volunteers know how
to make a visitor’s face light up with discovery!
