I Took the Pledge!

The director of Lee County Parks & Recreation started an initiative among our staff that aims to highlight the energy and service in our department as well as to give you – our customer – a more satisfactory experience when you visit our parks, preserves and facilities.
In coming months, you may see parks and recreation staffers wearing “I Took the Pledge” buttons or badges. This means they have pledged to deliver topdrawer service to our park patrons. The pledge is:
• A simple and easy way to show the world we care by promising to deliver excellent customer service with a smile.
• To let you know we are loyal to our customers – you, the park users – and that when the going gets tough, we are tough enough to keep going.
• A means for Lee County Parks & Recreation employees to garner personal satisfaction knowing they are doing the best they can at all times. It also gives them a say in how we deliver service and how we can make it better.
"As parks & recreation director, I promise you that we will stay positive. Parks, preserves and recreational facilities are important as severe economic conditions continue. We have the places that can give you peace of mind. We will be here to help you through tough times.
Staff and management started taking the pledge at our internal website just a few months ago, and already more than 160 have signed on. We are considering expanding the program to include our volunteer staff, so some of the 1,300 registered parks & recreation volunteers can also take the pledge, wear a button or badge and continue to deliver service with a smile.
Stay tuned to www.leeparks.org as more elements of our “Take the Pledge” campaign runs through 2011.
Please let me know if you have a story to share about interacting with one of our Lee County Parks & Recreation staffers. E-mail me at Barbara@leegov.com."
Sincerely, Barbara Manzo
Here are some comments we've received about our staff:
Kudos to Chris Conrad for going above and beyond the call of duty!
"Yesterday around 12 noon on 41 two dogs were running around nearly causing a dozen accidents when a county vehicle pulled up on the side of the road and helped me catch this dogs and help them to safety. Chris then called Animal Control and waited with these lovely babes. If it wasn't for Chris and the deputy helping out, this scene could have been tragic for not just the dogs, but for the dozens of drivers swerving and braking because of the dogs. Chris is a true hero of the day. Thanks for all your help Chris!"
Kudos to Carla! Another great example of behind the scenes customer service that is so vital to us all.
"I would like to thank Carla Lloyd in our Lee County Parks and Recreation administration team for getting things to me in a pinch and always going the extra mile in her internal customer service. She is always willing to help and does so in the most efficient manner. If she doesn’t have the answer, she is willing to find it and get back with you. She is a pleasure to work with and I greatly appreciate her willingness to help. Thank you Carla!" - Cindy Carter, CPRP, CPSI Senior Supervisor
Kudos to Mary Rude whose passion for the Slough is never-ending!
"Hi Mary, Thanks for taking time out to guide the VCB marketing director and our new advertising team last week. They raved about the visit and very much enjoyed you. I’m so appreciative of you sharing your passion of the Slough with them as they are very new to Lee County. Let me know if there is anything we can do for you in the future! Happy Holidays!" - Nancy MacPhee, Program Manager, Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau
Kudos to the staff at Veterans Park!
"I would just like to take a moment and thank your staff for the outstanding support and thoughtfulness they provided during the Community Yard Sale this past Saturday. I think it was because of their good naturedness the day flew by ... the Rec Center is a pillar in the community and very much appreciated by everyone I speak to regarding it! Keep doing the things you do...KUDO's especially to: (Eugene) Fernandez, Kym and Rene!" - Debra J. Fuller Ellis, AVON Representative
Kudos to Rebecca and Glen for running a great facility!
"I am writing this email in regards to the pool at Lehigh Acres. I started swimming and attending the water aerobic classes in April of this year. I had to write a note to express my appreciation and give praise to Glenn Pollack and Rebecca Horne. I was surprised and amazed by the friendliness and positive attitudes of your two employees. They are both professionals in their teachings and all the numerous tasks they are expected to perform besides keeping the swimmers safe. They both have a great ability to relate to the public and protect people from being in danger. Despite the fact that they are constantly busy they always find the time to greet each person as they enter the pool area with a friendly greeting and a smile on their face. It is because of Glenn and Rebecca that we have become more like family in our water aerobics class. We have built a great camaraderie and really enjoy our daily class. Just yesterday, Rebecca and Glenn set up a pot luck party after our class. We had a great turn out and everyone had a great time. It felt like it was almost like a family reunion than just a group of people that exercise together each day. I can't say enough that expresses my appreciation and gratitude for these model employees. Sincerely," - Paula A. Richards
Kudos to Joe Walker and John Strassburget for a great job!
"I visited Ft. Myers Beach a few days ago with visting friends. I was very pleased with the customer service we received from John and Joe. Thank you."
"Joe and John help me and my wife yesterday very friendly and fast as we had difficuities to pay. They delivered an excellent customer service with a smile. Thank you." - Angela and Volker Meissner of Hamburg, Germany
Kudos to Belinda at Bonita Beach for a job well done!
"Just a note to let you know that Belinda at Bonita Beach (near Doc’s) was most helpful and friendly recently during our visit to Florida." - Joe & Mary Ann Botta
Kudos to ranger DJ MacDonald for a great job! Honesty above all!
"Hello,I am not sure if this is the correct forum but I wanted to send my thanks to Dunkan "DJ" MacDonald..he found my wallet a couple years ago at Ft. Myers Beach and I was able to recover it...I called him last march to give him a reward but he declined....saying it was part of his job..I would just like to extend my gratitude for his actions..We have property in North Fort Myers and enjoy the hospitality that we have been given..If there is a way to give DJ a pat on the back please do...The parks and recreation dept. should be proud to have this fine ranger. Thank you." - Michael Oliver
Kudos to Andy Miller who is knocking them dead!
"Andy Miller was very helpful today!!! I met him at the kayak rental on John Morris he gave me info on things to do in the area along with some cute jewelry. he was very helpful and friendly! Great customer service!" - Sande Becker
"I just wanted to take a minute to comment on my recent experience at the Punta Rassa boat launch. I was launching my boat with my kids and was approached by a gentlemen who was basically saying hello and was asking how I was. I mentioned that I lived here in Fort Myers and boated quite frequently. He immediately brought to my attention that for $60 I could get a year round pass instead of $10 bucks every time. I was unaware as to the decal. Due to Andy Miller, I now have a decal on my wifes truck which we use to pull the boat, and one on my Ford Fusion for Kayaking. I will save a ton and now won’t have to worry about feeding the meter or what time I left! Andy was very helpful, informative, and just plane nice. He is an asset." - Scott Bowden
"One day last week Andy was working down at John Morris beach front. My husband who has parkinson's went to start his car and the battery was dead, had no cell phone with him and did not know the number to our condo. After asking several people to help he spotted Andy and another worker to help. They explained they did not have any jumper cables but would see what could be done. Every person that pulled up was asked if they had any cables and finally they succeeded. They got my husband started and he was able to get to a store for a new battery. I don't know what would have happened to him if he had not had help from your workers He cannot walk very far. We want to commend these very dedicated workers for a job they did not have to do. Good work!"
"I just wanted to send a quick note about a very nice young man that works for you. His name is Andrew Miller. My wife and I were at the Sanibel Causeway Island #2 last Wednesday. We have a shady spot where we like to park our car, put our chairs nearby and dip our toes in the ocean. Andy came by and greeted us like old friends! He treated us like long-lost friends, even though we had never met before. He gave us the latest information about the area and was very receptive to our questions. What a refreshing attitude! He seems to love his job and it showed. I salute you for keeping such a nice, conscientious person on your staff. We are 'snowbirds' and really appreciate the Lee County park systems. The availability, cleanliness, and usability of the causeway park areas are a big reason that we like to come here for the winters. Keep up the good work. Best Regards," - Dan Frank, Public Education Officer, Rootstown Fire Department
Kudos to Andy Miller for always delivering the best customer service!
"I met Andy at Bunche Beach Nov. 9th. Three friends and I stopped on our way to the airport for a return flight to Des Moines Iowa and San Antonio, Tx. We spent a week at the Holly House on Captiva. We visited several beaches, watching birds, collecting shells and taking sunset pictures. The Lighthouse Beach offers lots of shells, Bowman Beach was packed with Sea Gulls, Captiva Beach had more sunbathers, and the Beach access from our Lodging offered quick and easy access to the low tides and sunset.
I feel very fortunate to have met Andy because of his knowledge and friendliness. He told me of the Rock Quarry, an earlier bridge, how beacher's cars got stuck, about the turtle nests (he was so proud of them), of the parks he serviced and was eager to give me more information to take with me. You can tell him my baggage was too big and I had to remove some items. He compromised and gave me a very small booklet that I treasure...My biggest joy is watching my daughter at the beach. During the 1960's and 1970's our family vacationed along the Panhandle. It feels like my daughter is at home on the beach. Thanks to Andy and your park service." - Connie Stivers
Kudos to Joe Walker who helped find the lost child. This is a great letter and although addressed to Sheriff Scott our staff helped also. Thanks to everyone!
"Sheriff Mike, Again I want to commend your department! Carol and I were at Ft. Myers Beach Sunday Evening, celebrating our 4lst Anniversary by having a picnic and watching the sunset (that is what Senior Citizens do, ha), when a distress call went out from a Lee County Parks & Rec. employee riding an All Terrain Vehicle regarding a five year old who appeared to be missing. Carol and I became instantly distressed over the situation, especially since our grandson Tyler is about the same age. We didn't know what to do so we chose to tell everyone we saw and began looking ourselves. The boy was missing from about the Lana Kai area and since we were West of the pier I felt he wouldn't have wondered that way since the water is high under the pier and he would have no way to proceed without someone carrying him. But we looked up and down the beach and in the Public Restrooms and also up and down the street around Times Square. Many other people joined too. One lady commented wisely, that when something like this happens everyone should stop what they are doing and look for the lad. Amen to that!
All of a sudden Lee County Sheriff Deputies were everywhere and a chopper appeared flying up and down the beach. I knew then that everything would be OK. After about an hour I saw the Lee County Employee again and he said the little boy was found about a half mile down the beach, by the deputies. The word spread immediately and then a few tears of happiness were shed. Thank God your deputies found the little boy and returned him; that made our anniversary very happy.
Unfortunately I didn't get the names of the female deputy who informed us or the Parks & Rec employee, but we certainly felt they were heroes! Please thank your department for the worried beachgoers that day and especially for the parents, and we wish all a very Happy Thanksgiving! God Bless and Peace!" - Dick and Carol Kennedy
Kudos from the UK for Mick Nemetz. Great job Mick!
"David and I have recently spent 3 wonderful weeks on Sanibel Island (3rd visit). As a wildlife photographer (hobby/passion) we explored, as recommended by another photographer that we met, Bunche Beach, Bowditch, Little Estero Lagoon and Lakes Park. We met Mick Nemetz at Bowditch one early morning and got chatting about places to visit. He confessed he wasn't a 'birder' per say, but was interested in learning more. The reason for emailing is to say, what a friendly, welcoming delightful man Mick is. He and your staff are doing a great job preserving these areas. We also visited Lakes Park very briefly, as we were running out of holiday time, and what a great park facility for wildlife, and for family. The facilities are excellent. Parking was just $1, $2 on Sanibel! We will no doubt be back in the area for a 4th visit and more exploring of the area. Please give our best wishes to Mick." - Sheila and David Sargeant from the UK
Kudos to Keith Shivel at Bonita Beach for an outstanding job!
"I wanted to share with you something really amazing one of your awesome employees did for my family. My sister and I had decided to go to the beach one weekend and enjoy the Florida sunshine. As we were gathering our belongings we had realized that we had locked the keys to our car and both of our cell phones inside the car. Luckily we had bumped into Keith. He not only let us use his cell phone, but he was also a Progressive driver which helped immensely because we didn't have to look up any phone numbers or anything. He also stayed with us for a period of time as we waited for someone to come and unlock the car. I wanted to say thank you. He really saved us from a bad situation. I don't know what we would have done if there wasn't someone so nice and helpful around. Thank you so much Keith!" - Laura Bale
Kudos to Rangers Mike and Shane who not only enforce the regulations but teach our children to appreciate nature and our wonderful Parks!
"Last week Ranger Mike and Ranger Shane visited Cape Christian Preschool. We wanted to extend a great big thank you for allowing them to join us for the morning. The kids absolutely loved their presentation. They enjoyed sitting on the ATV and inside the Ranger truck. They haven't stopped talking about the snake and turtle. It was a great pleasure to have them visit our school and we hope that they are able to come again next year when we do our community week. Again, thank you for taking to time to join us at Cape Christian Preschool." - Michelle Dazer, Assistant Director, Cape Christian Preschool
Kudos to Laura Wewerka and fellow Conservation 20/20 staff for creating and keeping these wonderful places!
"Just a brief note of thanks for all you have done to make Pop Ash Creek Preserve such a nice place to enjoy the outdoors. I got to go trail riding on my horse at Pop Ash this Saturday. It was my first look at all the changes. WOW... how nicely everything has turned out. Thanks for all the thoughts that went into the new gates! Thanks also for your willingness to include the equestrian folks in your meetings during the project and in your plans for the Preserve. I hope you are as happy as I am about the results you achieved." - Anonymous
"My friend Mary Lou and I were the first to hit the Pop Ash trails on Saturday morning, and we had a great ride! Thank you so much for all the work you and your team have done. The trails are great, and the entry gate is a million percent better and safer than the old one. We could see how much effort went into making it nice for riding. We really appreciate it! Please pass this on to anyone else who was involved. You guys did a tremendous job! Best regards," - Be Engler
Kudos to Jeff and Mike for a job well done down in Bonita Beach!
"We were at Bonita Beach today and want to comment on how nice the beach always is. It is a place that we enjoy. A safe place to bring our family and guests. The beach area is always clean and comfortable and the picnic area is welcoming. We met with Jeff and Mike today and they were very helpful. Thank you," - Jay & Colleen Reed
"During a visit to Bonita beach yesterday Jeff was very helpful to us, friendly and personable, in keeping with the 'Pledge'." - Marilyn & Bill Roberts
Kudos to Ranger Mickey Miller for teaching fire making to kids at camp. GREAT NOTE!

Kudos to Rebecca Wermer in Estero for a job well done!
"Hi Becca, I'm impressed with how 'on top of things' you are. Is there anyone I can speak with regarding your exceptional performance? You certainly deserve some KUDOS! Many thanks again for taking such good care of me!" - Marilyn
Kudos to Lauren for a making such a great impression!
"I am delighted to take this opportunity to write you regarding the help and service I received from Lauren Jordan. Our agency is in the process of revising our sports facility rental agreements. I asked for and received a business card from Lauren at the annual FRPA conference in Orlando. I was impressed by Lauren’s genuine congeniality and willingness to help. She was polite and courteous in her role as CEU verification officer. I called Lauren to see if Lee County Parks and Recreation had the information I was seeking. Needless to say, Lauren was true to form. She saw to it that I received everything I needed. We were having some computer issues on my end. She persevered and was able to remedy the computer problems. I was especially impressed that she was working on Saturday! You are to be commended for you efforts in instilling in staff why quality customer service is so important. Lauren is an excellent example and ambassador for Lee County, home and away! Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to share my experience. Regards," - Mario Coppock, CPRP, Columbia County Recreation Director
Once again Andy Miller has exceeded all expectations for delivering excellent customer service with a smile. Kudos to Andy for always going above and beyond!
"My name is Mike Smith I'm a fishing guide here in Lee County and the president of the Lee County Guides Association. So I'm at the Punta Rassa boat ramp and other ramps as well a lot. And, I felt I needed to tell you that every time I see Andy he is hard at work. I always pick up trash and encourage our members to do the same to do our part. I'm sure that his job and others is a mostly thankless job like a lot of peoples' jobs are, so I felt I needed to tell you thanks for Andy..And, thank you and all Lee County employees for the great work you guys do! Take care and tight lines," - Capt. Mike Smith, LCGA
"I would just like to complement your department on the great kayak ramp you installed at Bunche Beach. This was the first time our group has used the new ramp and found it a large improvement from having to drag our kayaks from the old parking area to the beach. Andy Miller was also helpful with showing us how to use the pay machines. The only suggestion would be a sign near the bridge on John Morris Rd. pointing the way to the kayak launch. Thanks again for the nice kayak ramp." - Ed Morris
"Just a quick note to thank Andy Miller for his assistance at Bunche Beach on Friday September 2, 2011. The parking meter machine did not give me a receipt to put on my dash. After seeing Andy working on the machine, I let him know that I hadn’t received a receipt when I had put my money into the machine earlier in the day. Andy was kind enough to give me a hand written note to put on my dash to cover the time needed to enjoy your beautiful park. Thanks to Andy for going above and beyond the call of duty. Best regards," - Jerry Vojtush
"My name is Morganna Beth and I am with BSA Troop 18 out of Gateway. Today my troop and I held our annual beach party. Normally we go to Lover's Key but this year decided to change it up a bit so we were on the Causeway instead. As we were setting up, we were greeted by Andy Miller. A very amiable guy who told us to have a great afternoon and offered us some large trash bags and such. Andy was very nice and we told him to come back around 1 to enjoy some burgers & dogs with us (he didn't but he would have been very welcome.) We truly enjoyed the area (A span spoil island, near the foot of the bridge) We had put up a large dining fly (size of a 1 car garage) horse shoes, badminton and dodge ball (with soaked sponges of course) Anyway, I wanted to say thank you again for a lovely afternoon and share some of our photo's with you. Many thanks," - Morganna Beth, BSA Troop 18
"I just wanted to let you know about a very pleasant experience we had with your park ranger Andy Miller. My son & I were visiting relatives in Ft. Myers & on our last day (Aug 5th) we decided to go to the beach one last time...While my 11 yr. old son was in the water, he slit his foot open pretty good. It was bleeding profusely & our beach towel would not even contain the blood. As the family was walking back to retrieve the car, i sat my son down on a large rock in the parking area. Your park ranger Andy came along & saw us & our dilemma. He was very kind & quick to respond with some bandages & water to clean the wound. HE WAS A LIFESAVER THAT DAY! We could have absolutely not stopped the bleeding & made it back home without the help & supplies he provided....When we got home & could actually see the cut, it was just two one inch slits but it seems like he cut his whole foot open from the bleeding! No stitches needed to our surprise. Anyways, Andy gave us his card & I just wanted to do a follow up to let you all know what an asset he is to the park. Please pass on to him somehow to keep up the good work because there are NOT many people like him left in the world today! His pledge to deliver excellent customer service is sincere! Thanks for your time in reading this email!" - Shelly D. Hefley
"I had the pleasure of meeting Andy Miller while enjoying a day at the causway last weekend. I am the manager of the Sanibel Island Marina on Sanibel and cross the causway often. It always looks very clean and Andy was nice enough to explain how this happens, I could not believe after the fourth of July how quickly this entire area was cleaned up. Andy mentioned that after the Fourth was very challenging. Great Job!!!! Please stop in and see us...Best Regards," - Thomas M. McColgan, Manager, Sanibel Marina
Kudos to fiscal for getting all our purchase orders done!
"Cindy, Daisy, Barb, Carla, Jeannie deserve a huge thank you for always being there to see that the work is done so we can all get our work done. They have worked countless hours and overtime to get it all done. Thank you all." - Lauren
Kudos to John, Bruce, Chris and Kim for a great job!
"I have lived in San Carlos Park since 1985 and over the years my family and I have taken advantage of the many programs available at the San Carlos Community Pool. Swimming lessons, aerobics, birthday parties, etc. have all been positive experiences due to Bruce Fassett and his staff. However, I am writing today regarding the Junior Lifeguard Course. At one time I was a lifeguard myself, so when I became aware of this opportunity at the San Carlos Pool, I enrolled my granddaughter. The course was completed last Friday and my granddaughter enjoyed it immensely. The instructor, John Zavacky, not only managed to teach them the skills required to pass the course, but insured they had fun learning it. He evidently realized what hot sweaty kids at the end of their summer vacation needed to stay focused, and provided that for them. I had opportunity to be at the pool during some of these classes and witnessed this for myself Along with the certifications for First Aid and CPR, this course provides life lessons that will benefit these kids for years to come. Please accept this letter as kudos for a job well done and praise for Bruce Fassett and his staff, especially John, Chris & Kim. Thank you. Sincerely," - Donna Carvalho
Kudos to the Heavy Equipment Crew! They are behind the scenes on many projects and they make us all look good!
"Tom St. Charles, Jim St. Charles, Jimmy Sanford, Miguel Santiago Lopez and Ron Honnen came out to the main entrance of CRP this morning to clear vegetation for the installation of a new entry sign and it looks awesome. They were quick and respectful of the vegetation we wanted to have left behind. The location looks a thousand times better." - Laura Carr
Kudos to the staff at Lakes Park for always doing a great job!
"By the way, my husband and I are just so impressed with Lakes Park. We manage to get over there every few months. No matter when we go it just keeps getting better. Between the staff and volunteers, you folks have made a park that should make Lee County proud and all other counties envious. I wish that the Cape would put together a park like that for us. Please pass our congratulations to all involved with improving and maintaining Lakes Park. It is the best and it's where my video was shot." – Christine Lisiecki
"Just wanted to drop you a short email and tell you how our Lee Memorial Hospital picnic went on Saturday. Everything went very smoothly and uneventful. The weather was beautiful, all our staff had a great time. We had about 620 people in total that we fed lunch to and they played games all day. Lee Coffee worked with me to get the building unlocked and inspected. When I requested additional garbage bags he came right away. The whole crew on duty was very attentive, came by often to pick up our bagged trash to keep the park as beautiful as when we arrived. Again, thanks for a wonderful picnic that your staff saw to it that we were well taken care of and everything was perfect. Thanks" - Jeanne
Kudos to Christie and Trevor for a great job!
“I want you to know how pleased I am with the swimming classes you offered at the North Fort Myers Community Pool facility. My daughter, who is 9 years old, took swimming classes this past June, and I was very impressed with how the swimming classes were conducted. We had a very negative experience when she was taking swimming lessons at the ages of 4, 5, and 6 years old that were offered by [another organization]. There is absolutely no comparison with that experience to the experience we had with your classes you offer. If we had known how great the North Fort Myers experience would be, I would have brought her to your facility from the beginning. Unfortunately I wasn’t aware of your facility. I have already recommended the North Ft. Myers Community Pool facility to many of my friends and others I speak to occasionally. Again, thank you so much for having such a professional staff that is also very friendly, approachable and always willing to help. Sincerely," - Diana Gonzalez
Kudos to Bonnie Bahr who is the woman referred to in this letter! Way to go Bonnie.
“I just wanted to take a minute to say how hard I noticed the staff working at Rutenberg Park. I do not know the woman’s name, but I see her working all the time. I am not sure how she does it. My son has been playing sports at the park for years. As a county employee myself I know how hard it has become during the tight economic times. Please pass along my appreciation for the TLC taken at the park. It reflects well for the people of Lee County. Many Thanks," - Brian W. Bissell, Rehabilitation Specialist Lee County Department of Human Services
Kudos to Rebecca and Glenn out at the Lehigh Pool. Job well done!
“We want to express to you our sincere appreciation for the Lehigh Acres Community Pool and for the outstanding personnel that manage this facility. We use this pool at least five times a week to exercise and maintain our physical and mental health. As seniors, we participate in the water aerobics classes and also lap swimming. In our opinion this facility is very well managed and maintained thanks to the dedication and hard work of its regular staff, Rebecca Horne and Glenn Pollack. The pool presents a beautiful appearance, all systems appear to operate well, and the facility, bathrooms, and equipment are maintained clean and functional. Rebecca and Glenn are always busy taking care of the facility and taking care of us. Rebecca regularly conducts the water aerobics classes through rain or shine. Yes, she's out there even when it's pouring rain, motivating us to move our bodies in ways we didn't think possible. Glenn is always very supportive and encouraging to all of us. Glenn even shares fresh mangoes from his garden. His mangoes are delicious, healthy, and disappear fast. THANK YOU for Rebecca and Glenn. We are truly fortunate to have them at the Lehigh Acres Community Pool. The Lehigh Acres Community Pool is an important asset to this community. The pool is well used by individuals and families in the community and provides vital health support to local seniors through the water aerobics and arthritis classes. Many of the seniors who use this pool also volunteer in the community at the hospitals and care facilities, food distribution centers, senior center, and other programs. This wonderful pool helps these seniors stay in shape so they can live active and healthy lives and allows them to support the community through volunteerism...thank you for this wonderful pool and outstanding staff. Respectfully," - Phil and Bernadette Linebarger
I get lots of little notes from staff about the great things other staff do to help make their job easier. This kind of internal customer service is just as important as the external. Helping each other to get the job done or make life easier is what it’s all about. So…here are a few nice notes about fellow P&R employees from other P&R employees.
“I know we don’t usually send internal 'I took the pledge' emails, but thought it was good for you to know how great Barb (Schroat) is (you probably already know of course)” - Laura Wewerka
“I would like to express my appreciation and give a huge thank you to Pam Abbott, for stepping up to the plate, and to her supervisor Vera Connor, for providing Pam the opportunity in assisting with the phone coverage here at Terry Park while Bonnie is on vacation. Many, many thanks for having such great team spirit. - Linda L. Lullo
“Thanks Jim. Our supervisors and I appreciate your stepping up and covering weekend supervision during summer camps. I am not sure how many of the other Sr. Supervisors do this, but I appreciate you doing what is best for our Estero and 6 Mile camps! Good job!" - Gary Porter
“Kathy (Ball) from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for helping us. I checked in a few times and staff were happy. My stress was minimized. Thank you for stepping up to the plate.” - Amanda Gutierrez
"And finally, to Laura Greeno for coming to the rescue today and removing the following 'monster' from a truck in the Terry Park parking lot!"
